Meet Maxwell aka Max aka Baby Brother. Little Baby Maxwell arrived Monday, October 24th, in the early morning hours (because he didn’t think his parents needed sleep before his big arrival). He is perfectly healthy… and we could not be more thankful! He has been a sweet little love making our first week home dare I say a fairly easy adjustment. However, I’m sure things will get crazy once Daddy goes back to work.
Carter was excited to wake up, skip school and meet his new brother. He has asked nearly every day for the last couple of months “what hour is Maxwell going to come?” The love he has for his little brother is heart warming. He covers him with kisses and wants to show him the world. I can’t wait to watch them grow up together!
As for the furry brother, he had been my shadow during this difficult pregnancy. Toby enjoyed cuddling my pregnant belly and watched my every move. When we brought Maxwell home he immediately checked him out and gave a quick lick to his ear.
I’m often asked about how we introduced Carter to Toby and now Max to Toby. I had planned to send home a hat with Maxwell’s scent on it for Toby, but I totally forgot. Just the first of many things I’m bound to forget. When we brought Carter home I remember being so nervous that Toby might accidentally step on him or lay too close. Thankfully, he is the sweetest, gentle pup who became so careful around baby Carter.
This time I, of course, worried that he would maybe not be as careful since he is used to playing with Carter.. and then I discovered the DockATot. I wish I would of had one when we brought home Carter. I am OBSESSED! Thank you DockATot for sending this to our newest little love!
OK so I have a little confession…. I looooveee baby gear. And this is up there as one of my very favorites. It puts baby in a little breathable bubble. Toby loves to snuggle Max when he is in the DockATot and I love that there is a barrier. In just the week he has been home we’ve used it on the floor, couch, bed and even dining room table. We have used it for sleeping, changing, lounging… you name it. I would definitely recommend it for families with pups or older siblings that are still learning boundaries because we have both in our house.
And look at how cozy he looks in it! Maybe they will start making them in adult sizes. Prepare yourselves to see more of the DockATot and baby/puppy snuggles.
We love sharing our favorites just click here to get $10 off your own DockATot!
Congratulations on the new addition to your family!!! Enjoy following your updates. Please keep them coming.
